ICDD-sas team was present at the world pharmaceutical Congress in Philadelphia from 9th to 11th of June 2009. On this occasion Nathalie Compagnone, CEO, presented the last updates in the performances of the Mitostream® database; the selection-deselection tool to predict clinical tolerance. Pharmaceutical and biotech companies showed a strong interest in Mitostream® and pursued discussions with our team to discuss the advantage of the Mitostream® line to respond to their specific needs.

The Drug Safety Executive Council (DSEC), represented by Eric Glazer, which points out that all the recent advances in characterizing, understanding, measuring and monitoring the biology of adverse events has come about due to the utilization of new and emerging technologies such as Mitostream®, has suggested that ICDD-sas join the collaborative technology evaluation (CTE) program.

Paris, May 28th 2009, ICDD-sas receives the award of the young innovative company from “l’Usine Nouvelle” ICDD-sas received its award in the presence of M. Novelli, French minister for the industry “in the category services to the industry”. This award recognized ICDD-sas as a provider for innovative and highly performing tools for the pharmaceutical industry.

Christine Perrin-Julien has joined ICDD-sas with a strong background in sales management and operational marketing for 15 years in Abbott Laboratories, France. Christine has a double competence in science, with a master in biotechnology quality control, and in management with a certificate in business management from IEA, Lyon. She is responsible for corporate communication, strategic commercial planning and management of the sale forces.

ICDD-sas is laureate of the CAP innovation 2008 awards in category “espoir création-incubation”. Nathalie Compagnone received this awards from the CCI Marseille Provence and CCI Nice Côte d’Azur. This award is focused on innovative business regarding technologies, services, and products. 50 projects were evaluated within 4 categories (Creation/incubation; Start up, Sustainable development, Product and services).

Sophie Salvat, an immunology Ph.D. with professional experience in quality control management and a Health Business Management degree from Euromed-Marseille Business School, joins ICDD as Business Developer. Dr Salvat has a strong background in drug discovery in the pre-clinical and clinial research phases gained from a 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
