ICDD-sas produces analytical solutions that model human chronic toxicity in a predictive way. Used early in the development process, ICDD’s products and services allow healthcare companies to select safer products for development and to reduce the failure rate in late stage clinical trials, thereby at the same time reducing overall product development costs.

What is ICDD’s longer term objective ?

ICDD believes that by generating savings in product development costs and by developing and making available the appropriate product development tools, researchers will be encouraged to tackle some of the more difficult to treat diseases that are today associated with high overall costs to society.

What is ICDD’s interest in personalised medicine ?

ICDD-sas discovers and develops diagnostic tools, that enhance the precision with which a patient is diagnosed, facilitate the selection of the most appropriate therapeutic for that particular patient, provide a means of monitoring the continued efficacy of the selected therapy (patient monitoring) and that assist with the follow up of the patient at a later date (checking for relapse). These tools can also be used to select the right patients (in which efficacy is predicted to be the highest and toxicity the lowest) for a clinical trial. Enhancing personalized medicine is another of ICDD’s aims. It will help qualify efficient treatments in specific populations, accelerating time from discovery to treatment.
